In a not so distant past, before the advent of motorized vehicles and the modern interstate highway system, waterways served as a primary mode of transportation. It’s how we traveled, exchanged goods, connected with communities beyond our immediate village and explored the great expanses of our Mother Earth. Waterways weave through the body of the Earth like the blood vessels in our own bodies, connecting us all to the heart and brain of our Home and to one another. If severed, the disconnected places wither and die. It’s time we re-member the ties that bind us as humans and Earth dwellers. Come connect to the World with us!
